After stumbling onto the fan project Golden Axe Myth I started looking for others and it didn’t take long to find them.  I’m going to do my part to get the word out there.

SorR Project by Bomber Games is a complete, ground up remake of Sega’s Streets of Rage. It combines many different elements from Streets of Rage 1, 2 and 3; including playable characters and enemies. As well as original cut scenes and eight endings. The list of features is extensive and you can find all the details at the SorR Project Blog.

I haven’t yet beaten Streets of Rage Remake but with 93 stages in story mode it sounds huge. I’m sure this will keep my attention for a very long time. It also has 10 alternate game modes. See a sample of both below:
